Mixed Media Card Challenge #22 [SUNSHINE]

Hey there Mixed Media card makers.  We have a few more cards from our design team to give you some inspiration.  Just to remind you, this month's theme is SUNSHINE and the optional element is BRICKS.


Sanna
An old book sheet inked with spray inks, stenciled golden texture paste sun and inked clouds, die cut die patterned paper brick wall turned into townscape, stamped sentiment, hand drawn birds. 

Melissa

Sponged ink, sprayed with water, added die cut circle, stamped.


JENNY
Distress Inks, Perfect Pearls, Stencilling, Stamping and Embossing

Dry and heat embossing. Embossing paste. Watercolors. Puffy stickers.

The Mixed Media Card Challenge #22 {Sunshine}

Welcome to a brand new challenge here at The Mixed Media Card Challenge! For our challenge this month, the theme is SUNSHINE, and optional element: BRICKS. So have a go at creating a mixed media card that follows the theme with or without bricks. The team can't wait to see what beauties you'll be linking up!


HOW TO PLAY
1. Create a mixed media CARD based on the theme, with or without the optional element.
2. Display the challenge graphic on your blog post and link back to this challenge post.
3. You may enter as many times as you want, as long as each entry is different.
4. You may combine a maximum of 7 challenges (6 other challenges plus ours).
5. Submit your projects by April 25, 11:55 p.m. Pacific  time.

SANNA
An old book sheet covered with clear double sided adhesive, embossed shimmer sheets cut with die cut dies, then adhered onto the background. A layer of silk microfine diamond glitter, colored with alcohol markers. Hand written sentiment, badge and ink splatters.


JULIAAlcohol inks on Yupo paper, embossing paste, sun rays and brick stencils, Small Talk sticker, smudged stabilo pencil outline.


LEE-ANNE
CAS style mixed media featuring chalk paint, Polychromos pencils, Gamsol, PITT Artist Big Brushes, Wink of Stella and Stickles


YASMINA
Background on a watercolor paper with Twinklings H2o and stamps. Flowers from Prima Marketing and sentiment Tim Holtz stamps. I've got a video tutorial on my YouTube channel.

Background made with Distress Paint; sun rays made with texture paste & Perfect Pearls; ship is stamped, embossed, & watercolored; sentiment is embossed.


SHIRLEY
Distress Inks, Acrylic Paint, dry embossing, Prima flowers, brads, washi tape, Posca pen, Gelato.


MELISSA
Painted with, orange, yellow and turquoise Gelatos, stenciling with ARTplorations Chevron stencil, some stamping and die cutting.


JENNY
Distress Inks, Distress Markers, Tap Paper Transfer, Stencilling, Stamping, and Machine Sewing


MARIA L.
Dylusions paint, Tim Holtz, "RAY" stencil using Golden yellows, Prima stencil and white Golden paints for dots. Sentiment Unity Stamp Co.

Background rays stencilled with gold colour cracle paste, misted and inked with yellow colour. Hearts die-cut, texture added with a stencil and white texture paste. Coloured with red mists, decorated with machine-sewn stitches.

I created this card using Paper Crafting Crayons, Stencil, Watercoloring, Dye Inks, Watermark ink, Heat Embossing, Patterned Paper, Vellum, Stickers, Washi Tape, Staples, Sequins.
